Bryopsis on zoa plugs? Photo attached

I've been having a hell of a time killing this algae that's growing on a couple of zoa plugs I got from a local dealer early in the year. Have been doing peroxide dips to the point of practically killing the zoas, but does not stop it from coming back.... I have been manually removing as well, but it's actually growing from the inside of the polyps!!
Finally, last week I put the frags in a 20 gallon quarantine tank and dosed with Kent Tech-M, since I read that should do it if it's Bryopsis. It's been a few days and I swear it's still growing.
I want to make sure this is Bryopsis I'm dealing with and not some kind of caulerpa..... attached is a pic, please share your thoughts.
Thanks for looking.

Even if it were some type of Caulepa, as opposed to byropis, h202 should have taken care of the problem.
Go to reefcleaners.com and see what the section on pragmatic algae recommends. While I find hermit crabs to be destructive, they may be a solution. For sure emerald crabs will get it, however, they consume everything when they are hungry.

Thanks for the reply, Patrick. I swore off Emerald crabs when I had one that liked to eat my white clove polyps and mushrooms. I am really light on my clean up crew critters these days with only 2 astrea snails and 2 hermit crabs in my 75g..... have been trying to reduce nitrates and phosphates and thinking less animal waste has helped.

The hermits and snails would not increase your bioload, as they should reduce it by consuming detritus. Food and fish will increase bioload.
