Hello all,
I am currently battling a nasty case of Bryopsis in my 40 breeder and was looking for any advice/experiences anyone had with this nasty stuff. First, i was able to positively identify this stuff. Second, it seems like the only thing that worked for people was dosing Kent Tech M magnesium. So, currently i am dosing a heavy amount of tech m to try and rid my tank. Ive read that the levels should be at and stay at around 1800 for this process to work. Any other experiences? This is my last stand before i break my tank down and take a break from the hobby. What i love most about this hobby is troubleshooting problems like this and finding a solution but Ive had more problems than good experiences since upgrading tanks. I look forward to hearing about everyones experiences with what ive found to be the worst type of algae. Have a good weekend everyone!!!
