not to change the topic but what is a good and reef safe urchin to have in a tank that will not mow down corals.

Clean water helps a lot unless you have this stuff...it is actually red unless you take a pic with 20K bulbs. lol This stuff loves clean water but my Scopas seems to love it. I battled with it a long time and in two weeks he has cleaned almost all of it off.

why would you battle that, it is cool looking. i think that it is harmless too since i have seen it growing amongs zoznthids and other corals before.

i have owned urchins the size of a quarter (long spine and tuxedo urchines)

i still have the tuxedo
