I bought a 36" Actinic LED bar from a lfs made by BS LED in China. It worked great and added excellent pop to my corals in addition to my T5HO unit. After about 16 months the end cap started to take on some splash/salt damage and the built in power supply failed. The bar would turn on but only about 3% power to the LEDs.
I took a crazy chance and went to their website and e-mailed their tech support. I ended up with a tech named Happen who had me send in pictures and took my issue to their engineering department. Once approved he sent me a replacement LED Bar light.
The second light was damaged in shipping (the power cord came loose) but rather then fuss with FedEx I just soldered the power cord back on, problem fixed.
I was rather happily surprised with support from a China based off-brand LED maker.
They also make 165w LED Reef panels that Happen asked if I would share the info. I'm not sure on the TOS but I am not affiliated with Bysen and I have been happy with their support so I said I would post here.
