Ok so maybe it was my pc. Here is the story. I had a Rk2 that I bought from a RC forum! I decided to purchase a additional new unit from Marine depot along w/2 new ph probes(1 probe each for RK2#1 and RK2#2) Everything arrives and inspects well. Good job Marine Depot! Everything works except the powerheads don't turn off or function w/control. Day #2 lost an additional channel- CF lighting. If you are not up to date w RK2, here is a crash course. Controls 8 outlets through a panel, all 8 channels are programmable and interchangeable. Channels #4 and #8 are relay controlled for halides and lights. If you read the forum you will see the backasswardness of Digital Aquatics explanation.

I have one for over a year works great. For ur pumps on channel 1.2.3.5 .6.7 all u need to do pair it up with night light so it has enough power to turn it on and off

Have you tried doing what they recommended to you? Using the powerheads in 4 & 8 and trying the halides in the other ones.

I run my lights on 1 and 5. For 4 and 8 I run my dosing pumps

my gripe is why will my 1 year old Rk2 work no prob. but the new one is different? Why cant you use the channels freely like my other?
