BTA Anemone Tentacle Marks?

Hey Guys,

QUESTION - What are the bleached spots on the anemone's tentacles? It eats fine and seems to be growing. Just wanted to know if there was something I was suppose to be doing.

Anemone Details
I have had this BTA for a few months now. I think it has already started to grow pretty well. I have been feeding it about 1-2 times a week. I feed it freeze dried krill pieces and mysis shrimp. It is the only anemone in the 55 gallon tank.

Tank Details
The tank is a 55 gallon tank. No sump. CPR Bakpak skimmer. 2x 280 emperor biowheel filters. 2 powerheads. 90 pounds crushed coral sand bed. ~100 lbs live rock. Lighting is 4 - 55W compact flourescent (half 10000K, half 460 nm)

Water Parameters
Temp 78F, pH 8.1, NH3 0ppm, NO2 0ppm, NO3 10ppm, PO4 0.25ppm, Cal 450 ppm, dkH 8.5.

Livestock
Softies, sps, zoas, 3 damsels, 1 yellowstriped maroon clownfish, 1 yellow tang, CUC (mostly snails, a few hermits)

Hosting
So, the clown has been hosting the anemone for a few weeks now. It really likes to be around and in it. It even brings mysis and krill to it. However, the clown is pretty big in the anemone. I hope that is not a problem.

Looking forward to hearing details from people with way more experience than I. :)

Not too sure what the spots are but the bta looks healthy some times if the clown is to big it can beat the nem to death but yours seems to be handling it find so I would not worry

Yeah, the clown can get a bit rough with the anemone but for the most part, the anemone seems to handle it. Just wondering if the spots were maybe coming from the clown being a bit rough with it.

Mine looked like that after it stopped bubbling. It had lighter spots where the bubbles used to form. After awhile the spots went away.

What do you mean stopped bubbling? Is that common for a BTA? I take it I don't need to worry at all?

Thanks again for the help! :)
