bta anemone wont stick to a rock

I have a buddy of mine who bought a bta 3 weeks ago and it has never got its footing.When he got it he wasn't on a piece of LR.Is there anything he should be doing.He has ajusted his lighting and flow several time.He keep falling off the LR no matter what.He turns the powerheads off and trying placing on the LR and he still falls off.I told him to put him anywhere he won't fall off and let him get his footing and if he don't like where he is at he will move.Well he done that the anemone stayed put for about 3 days and fall off again.Anyone have an answer cause I don't?

GLUE! Sorry, couldn't help myself.

May try sticking him in a container with some rubble rock on the bottom with low flow. Let him rest there for a bit. Eventually, he will start to move.

My concern is that he bought one that wasn't attached. It may be sick and/or dying. Now would be the time to provide pristine conditions.

That has been done and he will stay there for about 3 days and fall off.I said the some thing why did you buy an anemone not attached to some LR and he sai he bought it on line.He didn't say where on line

could it be something else other than BTA...
