i was wodering if my bta is coloring up or bleaching. its under a 96 watt power compact light in a 12 inch tall 10 gallon tank.the store i bought it from a week ago had it under pc as well just less watts in a bigger tank.water is perfect in all aspects.

heres a pic from 1 1/2 weeks ago.

here is tonight:

Sometimes anemones do expell some of their zooxanthellae to adjust to brighter light. It might be doing that.

well im very sad now i came home to a mess of a tank and my bta stuck in my nano korilia powerhead with no chance of saving him. im not gona get another one until my 75 gal is up and running .im really dissapointed . is my tank polluted now? what should i do? the bta is a goner and out of the tank but what should i do to fx the water if anything at all?

ok im going to do a 20% water change in the morning and i guess the day after ill do another 20% water change too.i took out the korilia and took every piece of the nem off of it and out of the tank :( .ill just throw another fresh carbon bag into my AC70.this sucks cause i really liked the bta. this is what i get for not listening to RC members that a 10g was to small.i was trying to make it a clown and bta only tank but there goes that idea ugh.a waste of 40$ but screw the money im really upset i killed a creature that was so great.

if there is a large piece of the bta left it might be worth leaving that in the tank.. btas are fraggable so it might survive

it it got it all over its body.. sorry for the loss :(
