I just thought this would be fun to share this with y'all. In 5 months I've been able to nurse a hitchhiker anemone back to health. I'm pretty sure it's a green BTA. But that's just my amateur opinion.
Here's the before picture from the beginning of February. The rock it was on had been out of water for a number of hours, and I didn't know until the next day that I had an anemone.
BEFORE:
I fed it little pieces of shrimp, fish, or Rod's Food about 3 times a week while it was still pale. After about a month it picked up a very faint green color.
DURING:
Over the last couple months the color has gotten much deeper and it has really stretched itself out nicely.
AFTER:
Now I feed it about once a week. Once I get the tank moved and settled again, I'd like to get a pair of clownfish and see if they might be interested in hosting in it.
Hopefully I'll be able to move everything without shocking the anemone (or anything else) too much.
