I have had a BTA for two years in a 65 gallon under 192 watts(96 10,000K & 96 w Actinics Blue).I changed the 96w Hamilton technology 10,000 K bulb after one year and replaced it with a 96 w 10,000K bulb by irridesence.

Right away my anemone retracted into the rock and after two weeks he has bleached. Still eating but staying retracted into the rock much of the day.

Anything else I should do??

I'd keep feeding it...

How long has it been hiding. I might be trying to get used to the new light.

I experienced when I changed to a higher PAR metal halide bulb. After a few weeks, it seemed to get used to the new light and was happy again.

I guess he will get used to it!

He won't get use to it when its essentially dying.

Put a rock over your anemone to create a cave. This way your making your anemone feel more secure. Try feeding your anemone every other day. Right now its under some serious stress. Also do a 20% minimum water change. Keep feeding it every other day. Leave the rock over the anemone until it starts to come out a little bit more. Eventually remove the rock. Keep up the feedings and water changes. After a months time it should be looking good again.

Glad to help.
