I have a pair of Blood Orange Clownfish, (half Maroon half Ocellaris) The maroon clown naturally hosts the BTA

the one frequently hosts my bubble coral, so i put a rainbow bubble tip anemone in there... they havent gone near it lol

Ive heard of putting a picture on the side of the tank.... does anyone have any good ones?

Any tips to get them to host the anemone id love to be able to see that.

no one with ideas? Ive been shining the light on the anemone at night, i have a picture of a maroon clown hosting taped to the tank, and i have been spot feeding the anemone first hoping the clowns will go in to get the food, but my leopard wrasse seems to be more bold than the clowns! I guess I just need to be patient?

If I remember correctly, living in the nem is for protection. So if there is no external threat, they don't seem to be in a hurry to make the nem there home. I had a friend who put pictures of some lionfish I think it was, or some type of threating fish, on his tank and with in about 2 days his clowns were living in the nem. He would move the pictures around for awhile, then take them off, after about 2 weeks . It just a thought. couldn't hurt.

Good luck

Hahahaha! Pictures of a lion fish that's hilarious lol I'm gonna try that thank you! Lol it seems so awful to scare them but hey I'm trying to simulate a natural environment right lol makes sense. And shock... if I'm trying to get them to host the anemone why would I remove him

LOL. I just put a picture next to mine and they hosted in like a minute. It was a pictire if other clownfish hosting a bubble tip anmeone lol.
