well, after thinking for awhile I have decided that I do want to have a nem for my clowns. from what I gather the BTAs are the best chioce. I dont know if my tank would, however, be a good enough enviorment for one. I will wait (of course), till the tank is 6 months old. here are the specs.
20g AGA display tank
29g AGA baffless sump/ fuge
96 watts t5 lighting (no SLR, but will be getting them before I get the nem)
coralife super skimmer
20-30 lbs LR in main tank
30-40 lbs LR in sump/ fuge
1 100 watt heater, 2 25 watt heaters
2-3" DSB in sump/fuge
1/2-1" SSB in display
inverts are snails, pom pom crab, various LPS, zoas, shrooms, softys, hermits, shrimp. fish are 2 percs, several more small fish. will this be an okay tank for the nem? my LFS has some amazing GBTAs in from time to time, they are small tho (about 2-3"), will the clowns be okay hosting in one that small? (I know they may not host t but I can try lol
). also, none of this is in the tank yet.

your system sounds like it'll be very stable for an anemone after a few months. yeah, the only problem i would see is that the 'nem would be too small and the clowns would end up stressing it. I'd wait for a bigger one, especially if you have a pair of clowns. Ideally, the 'nem should be bigger than the clowns.
