BTA: First signs of bleaching?

Quick question to all if I may....

Had this green BTA for a couple of months now and wondering if we are seeing beginnings of an issue that may become worse down the road.

I tried to google info on the first signs of BTA bleaching but nearly images display pretty obvious examples of already significant bleaching.

To those who have been through this in the past, is this how it begins or is it normal to see uneven patches of the nems body with higher and lower levels of zoox population?

Thanks in advance.

The first signs of bleaching is just that, you'll see it bleaching. What you are experiencing is just minor deflation, BTAs commonly deflate for whatever reason.

Thanks for the reply Justinky.

I'm not too concerned about the minor deflation in the tentacles but moreso the translucent patches at the base of the tentacles.

It's pretty hard to tell from the posted image, but those translucent patches are more visible to the naked eye and appear to make their way around the entire nem.
Can only really see them when our nem is fully stretched out under the main lights.....otherwise it looks normal.

All BTAs have those lines on the oral disk, some more than others. I know what you're talking about and it's nothing to worry about.
