now it only looks like that at night time and when i turn on the lights he shrivels up to about the size of a quarter and turns a little bit inside out.. but i think its getting stressed out buy the tomatoe

Your GBTA looks bleached significantly. Your tomato is also too big. Your anemone should be 3 times bigger for a clown to host or else it will put stress on it.

are u for sure... cuz if soo should i get a smaller clown or just take out the anemone or what

Your clown is too big for the anemone and it's been starving to death for months and it doesn't look like it was the healthiest specimen to start with.
It's sounding like if you don't take the anemone out soon you won't have to worry about taking out the clown because your anemone is going to die.

What are you going to do with the anemone or the clown if you get them out of the tank?

Where do you live? I'll take the anemone and try to nurse it back to health if you're close.

lol it was doin good untill a week ago.. the anemone is pretty big it just dosent look bi cuz of the clown in it.. the clown is huge.. like about almost 2 inches. i think thats whats goin on because the anemone has been eating and stuff and at night he will be perfect but when i turn the lights off he dosent look good.. i love my anemone i would never take it out and just give it to u.. nice try though i think i can get it back to normal my self

Good luck!
It might help if you kept the tomato away from the anemone for a while.

im gonna try and just take the clown out and give it back to the store... see what the BTA does for about a week and if hes normal then just find a smaller clown to host.. if not ill just take the BTA out

The BTA may take a bit longer than a week to start looking good. I'd reccomend giving it at least a month, if not longer.
I also reccomend staying away from tomatoes. 2 inches for a tomato is really still a juvenile. I think tomatoes can get to something like 5 inches. Maybe try some nice basic percs or something, although I've got a pair of percs that are a couple of years old and they don't want to host near anything that isn't an overflow. :(
And don't forget to quarantine if you get some new fish in the future!

how about seperate the anemone from the tomato. Get a piece of acrlyic or glass panel and put the anemone on one side of the tank and divide the tank up. Why waste a fish?

i just tested my salinity and it was 1.022 i know thats a lil low do u think that could be the reason he is not doing well?

It may be part of the reason but there is more to it. Its probably your tomato at work, salinity and you did not get your bta in good condition to begin with.

The low salinity probably isn't helping, but that alone wouldn't damage your BTA so badly.
It's probably a combo of poor shape to start with, poor nutrition, and too much love from the tomato.
I think you should separate them and see what happens.

Good luck!
