Bta in front of return pipe

Hi,
I recently (10 days) received a BTA that was extremly stressed due to very long shipping time that resulted in cold temperature. Not sure of temperature. It looked terrible upon recepit, but tentacles still had color. I floated in QT for 30 minutes, then did a slow acclimation in QT. Looked very good the next day.
The anemone moved 2 times in the last week (which was of no concern. I had one hide for 3 wks. before) and finally chose to attach to a rock in front of a return pipe.
I have had several BTA's and have never seen this. I am wondering whether or not anyone has had, or heard of, a BTA that choses to attach directly in front of (maybe 3-4 inches away) a return pipe.
By the way, the return is close to the bottom of the tank, which is a 60 gallon cube. There are 2 MP 10s in the tank.
Any thoughts or help would be appreciated.

While I keep my BTA's in an all hob tank. I have had a few splits attatch to and stay on the bottom of my HOB skimmer. Runs a PSK 2500, so the flow is pretty good. Most of mine stay right below a Koralia mag 5. While not direct flow, its pretty strong and they thrive.
