Bta loosing tenacles

Like it says my green bta has lost about 5 tentacles so far. No fish in the tank when it happened. Is this common?

I sometimes notice peices of tentacles adrift in my tank. My RBTA does not seem affected

My purple BTA with green tips has lost some tentacles too. Im trying to feed him a daily dose of mysis in case of starvation. Anyone else have this issue with an possible explanation?

I belive it is due to stress.I see this with my RBTA's and I have seen no ill effects.

hey Clowns, Im assuming all the tentacles come back after a while?

Yes,they come back!I dont ever notice them being gone really either!I just always looked hard to see if I could see any thing!I then would look at them anemone and the tenteclas were already healing.
