BTA nano lighting suggestions

Were currently in the process of selling our house and will end up renting for a few months or so until we find a new home to purchase. So breaking down my 110g, setting it up in the rental then breaking it down in a few months and resetting it up just isn't in the cards.

Ive decided id like to keep my pair of B&W Snowflake ocellaris and Sunburst BTA in a spare 20g tank. The anemone is still fairly small about 3" in diameter.

Since its just a temporary setup i dont want to spend a ton of money on lighting for the 20g, i was thinking possibly a small DIY LED set up or something of that sort but i wanted to ask the Anemone experts what there thoughts were and what would be best to keep the anemone healthy. Right now its under 250w Radium MH.

It's better than nothing. If you're renting and will only be there a couple of months I'd say give it a shot but what I would do is put the temporary tank near a window so it gets natural (but not direct) sunlight. You might have algae problems but don't feed too heavy and you should be ok. Keep an eye on temperature (of course). I have a feeling it will 'sulk' after basking under 250W MHs.

I have all my anemones under LEDs so I would suggest to go with a relatively cheap LED fixture yet not a chinese LED fixture, just IMO. I would probably look into an AI SOL Blue, they should be about $300 or less now since the release of their new fixture.

You can get a rapid par 30 bulb for under a 100 shipped. Check to see if someone is selling used ones. Since you're only needing it two months, I would go used. Saves you money in the long run too.
