BTA qt advice

[Deep Reef]

I'm going to purchase my first bta and put it through quarrentine. Do I need to worry about it attaching to the glass of the qt tank? If yes, is there any way to prevent this?

Toss a coffee mug in with it. When you put it in, just set the coffee mug upright and set the foot inside, it'll settle itself in the mug and give it a nice place to sit while in QT

Right, but if upright, they'd have a tough time peeking out. Might was well just use a rock with a deep hole in it versus a mug. I think mugs are too deep.

Nah, a standard coffee mug isn't that deep.
