BTA question

Well it has eaten not much at all . but still its a stemp in the right place . so when i got up i look in the tank and the nem has moved right below the GBTA it has its foot in a hold witch i think is great . her is a pic i may give the past food a try .

So here is a update I took a look at the Anemone today and it looks like it is getting better . There are spots were the tentacles are starting to show witch I was happy to see this morning. My pair of maroons are hosting the Anemone that had no tentacles witch I think is strange is this a bad thing or good that this is happening .

thats probly not good for the anemone...correct me if im wrong, but if its near death, the clowns agitating it will make it worse

The Nem will tell you if it doesn't like the clowns loving it to death....

To be honest I think it has been better since my maroons have been going in to that nem . It is really crazy they both pick the one with no tentacles over my 2 healthy bta's . I hope it all works out .

I have seen this before where clowns will go for the unhealthy Nem.. maybe they are trying to bring it back to life? increase in territory?

I hope this is true I would love to see it pull through this . I also would like to know what color this BTA is . I think I will try and feed it really light tonight .

What else do you have in your tank. I had a RBTA that did the same thing with no tentacles. I actually was able to get it to eat...I could see it close up and then open back up with no tentacles and mouth shut using the technique listed here of holding the food in front of the mouth. I couldn't figure out why it was starving when it would continue to eat and then I caught a cleaner shrimp actually pulling the food out of the closed mouth...after removing the shrimp I had better success.

I do have a cleaner shrimp but he does not bug my nems at all . last night was good as it is eating im seeing good inprovement will try and get a good pic and post it . The reason i think it was so sick was from the Fishstore i got it from .

So here is an update last night the nem did not want to eat at all so I will give it a couple days and try again . I just want your guys option on if you think it look better . Please look at the first few picture and this new one that I took this morning if you look close the tentacles are starting to show again .

So here is an update the nem was releasing waist witch is great news it its tentacles are starting to look bubbled short and stubby . I just wanted to say thank you to every on for the idea they are working . i swaer it like haveing a kid all over again but im injoying every day

Thank you so much im working hard at this . The the outside of them nem and as well as the foot are getting a much darker pink

4-22-11 well today i tryed feeding the nem a pice a scallop and it took a little help on my part but whent really well . We are not in the clear buy we Are getting there .
