BTA Question

I have seen tons of BTA of all different varieties and some have really bulbous tips (duh) and then there are some that just look like a LTA where there's no bulb. Is this a sign of sickness? Is this normal? Thinking about getting a BTA for my tank and want to make sure I get a healthy one.

It's normal, some ave the bulb tips and some don't.Mine had bulbs but after it split it and the clone look like ltas.

The main things you'll want to look for are tears in the foot and the mouth formation. Vivid Aquariums has a good video on choosing a healthy nem on their youtube page, mrsaltwatertv also has some anemone videos on his page.

i think this is the one of those questions that will never have answers and no one seems to know why a bta does one over the other but that is not a sign of the health of the bta
