When they deflate every so often how long will they stay deflated and what are some signs that the anemone is in trouble. My anem. is pretty low in my tank and i think it might have deflated because it's not getting enough light. Could this be a cause?

Its not deflating due to inaquedate lighting, its either deflating to flush out the water within it or to emit digested food. It depends on how long they can stay deflated for. I have seen anemones stay deflated for several hours while others stay deflated for 10 minutes. It all depends. Hope that helps.
