Bta question

Will rose and green btas sting eachother or can they be kept touching eachother. My rbta in my pico is in the process of splitting and I would like to add the clone to my main tank. Thanks in advance.

In Mobert's thread at the top of this forum she has green and red ones in the same tank. I don't know what kind of chemical warfare is going on but it seems to work well for her. She has a few different strains of rbta in the tank too. It might be a good idea to run carbon if you're worried about it.

Here is the link to the thread I'm talking about if you haven't seen it.

i had my gbta and rbta together for a while and they seem to be doing great. but maybe yours might be different.

I had a green and rose BTA next to each other for quite a while with no negative effect. I finally sold the GBTA. I also have two different stains of RBTAs that are often against each other without any problems.
