BTA Split

I just had my BTA split today after I did a water change. What do yall suggest me doing? Think I need do water change tomorrow? Also when do you think I need to start feeding them?

I would make sure all the parameters in your tank is good. Some ppl say that BTA split due to stress.

Nitrates are the only thing that are off. They are at between 15 and 20. But by end of this week i should be set because will have a sump on the tank. I just did a 20% water change yesterday dont know if that did it or not. But I always do that much.

My understanding is that PTA split as a means of reproducing also. Be happy you have two if the water levels are fine.
