BTA won't move!

My anemone stuck it self to a cervices in a live rock. I was wondering what method best to remove it. He's stuck in there, like really stuck in there, aiming power head at it didn't work.

If you can get to the foot, I've heard rubbing it with an ice cube can get it to release.

They move to where they're happy. If it's happy there, it'll stay. Why do you need it to move?

So I would echo what SushiGirl just said. I found myself with 3 in my tank after splits and they began killing coral. I had to move them. I will tell you I tried everything ice, credit card, you name it and nearly killed it. I learned my lesson if you really need to move it there is only one safe way to ensure you do not harm it. Carefully chip a piece of the live rock off and move it that way. Otherwise you are likely to kill it before it releases from the rock. The only exception is if it is on glass or another smooth surface then you can probably get underneath the foot. Take it from me I learned the hard way.
