BTAs move together?

Is it normal for RBTAs to move together?
I had one sitting in the same spot for about a month and a half, never moved. I added a second one, which moved from where I originally placed it to a spot it liked. Shortly after the original one climbed down the rock and is right next to it.
Just curious if it is normal for this to happen? or did the original one just get unhappy and move there and this is all a coincidence?

Probably coincidence. I have never heard of them moving together. However I have often heard of them getting unsettled when a new anemone is added.

I had 2 in my tank... one was in the same place for roughly 6 months. Never moved.

When my other Big one split the two pieces stayed togther. roughly 3 months.

Then 2 months ago the non split one decided to move next the other two with in inches of each other. was really weird... they are intertwined when fully open.

I'll tell you though. the CLOWNS LOVE IT. hahaha

Its fine I have multiple gbta's and rbta's on one rock it kinda looks kool coz it looks like one massive nem with different color variations.

I don't think it's a coincidence at all. They can sense each other and have unpredictable reactions. I had two in my tank that were doing ok. I added a third. One of the original two has moved right next to it and is making rapid improvements to color and inflation. The other died.

My GBTA never liked a spot in my tank.. then I got an RBTA and now they both stay put together. My GTBA made the first move over to the rock that my RBTA was attached to and hasn't moved too far from it since. They are now BFFs haha. I think maybe they enjoy that sense of security. None of them are hosting fish at the moment.
