As some of you may already know, I've had my large BTA for over a year now and it split a few months ago. The pair stayed side by side since then until a couple of weeks ago.
The female maroon mainly hosted in the smaller part of the split and the smaller male, stayed in the larger BTA. Then the larger BTA took off on me a couple weeks ago. It dissappearered for a while and so did the male clown.
Then, the once missing BTA re-appeared at the top back corner of my tank alive and well. Well, now the male prefers to stay back in that one and the female continues to stay in the smaller one, located at the lower front, middle of the tank. For a while these clowns were inseperable and now they host apart. Now the male usually only comes back with the female in the smaller bta around feeding time. Otherwise it stays back in the larger one.
Does anybody think this could cause trouble down the road? As in the male turning female, being on it's own this much?
