BTAs taking over

Mine split into 4 in about 8 months under T5's. I have yet to have one split under LED's... Maybe you are on to something.



It is just a theory but when I was at reefapalooza I talked to one of the booths about there lemon drop bta and they said they put it in one of those floating breeder boxes under t5 and it split over 50 times in a year
 
Very nice. Wish mine were that colorful. I have a garden of gbtas, about 80 of them. All clones from a single rbta (or so it was at the time) that turned green back in 2007.
There was a large patch of kenya trees in the middle, which kept the nems from expanding, that I had cut down a few months back. They seem to be expanding again. I keep finding new clones about every month. Please excuse the HA. I am winning the battle slowly.

I do 50% water changes per week and never had a BTA split in 5 years.
When I changed from a compact fluorescent to a LED I had one split.
