Last night I picked up a tiny BTA with odd characteristics. It has very thin tentacles. They are thinner than a typical round toothpick rather than the thickness you normally see similar to that of airline tubing. Maybe 1/6 inch vs 1/4 inch diameter I would expect. The tentacles did show a bit of bubbling when I saw it in the store.
I picked it up despite it being bleached and tiny. It did have a strong immediate feeding response, so I think it can be brought back to health
So I figured these are the possibilities
Not a BTA
Just a normal sick BTA
BTA that is little because it was sexually produced
BTA variant that will keep the thin tentacles
What do you all think?
These pics are of it in a normal 1" PVC elbow. It parked itself upside down, but it has only been in the tank for 12 hours or so. Hope you can see the pics. Click them for larger versions and zoominyness.

A normal sick RBTA in the same tank being brought back to health. First signs of regaining color this week, yay!
