I was looking to get a BTA and i was just wondering what corals are safe with them or if they are reef safe i have always wanted to have a tank that looked like a real reef and that is what i am hoping to do with the fifty five once cycled but i was just wondering is there any danger of it attacking the corals? and if there are any different kinds of nems good for hosting maroons or if there is another nem that they will even host?

Maroons are relatively easy to host. A BTA is their natural host. The anemone won't "attack" your corals per se, it will just sting them as it passes by or if it happens to settle in a place that corals are around. If you can get them to stay put - BTAs are fairly mobile and will rove around until they find a place to hide their foor with suitable lighting and flow - they should be safe for a reef. They have a fairly mild sting as far as anemones go. Mine has brushed up against some of my corals before, but they would just retract until the anemone passed by then open back up like any other time a hermit crab or something had passed by and made them uncomfortable. If the anemone's tentacles aren't actually sitting on the coral for an extended period of time I'd say you'd be just fine.
