Well BTJ's Jungle in West Islip Long Island is opening their store this week across the street from where their old one burned down in 04... They bought the "Pet Circus" building (later became home care medical supplies). Pet circuit was building a huge salt water aquarium that was half the size of the store.
Anyway I wish them luck. The old store was a pile of old shanty add on buildings held together with extension cords and tie wraps. No wonder it burned down. Well the insurance company finally settled and the can move out of the strip mall they are in now. I hope they take their new location more seriously because the rented place was a dust accumulating experiment with the worst looking reef tank I have ever seen. Their new place has a nice new set up so lets hope...
I bet money the old yellowed expired containers of reef supplements will go right on the new shelves rather than in a bargain bin.
