what is the best way to get rid of this problem? Every time i try to pull it off it breaks open I read that this is not a good thing. I also read that emerald crabs would work, dose any one have any success in removing this problem?
as long as there is algae in your water column, it will continue to grow IMO. Its usually caused by excess nutrients. So check what youre doing for nutrient export: water changes, skimmer, macro growth, etc.
yeah, emerald crabs will work I've heard but if you think about it... if when you try and remove it and it breaks open wouldnt it do the same thing when the emeral crab pulls it of to eat it? just a thought I just had
the tank is only a week old and I bought established LR from a guy, I will have a 20L fuge and a skimmer. Should I get the crabs before I start any corals or fish?
of subject I put the rock in on sat. and my nitrate and nitrite are at zero and ammonia is .25 . Will I have a cycle period or not?
