Bubble algae

I am past my hair algae phase now I have these weird algae like plant things (looks kind of like feather caulerpa but not on a vine) and bubble algae popping up. My Alk is low right at 7, and my calcium is 420. I lost my ph kit.... ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate are 0. I took my chaeto out of the sump a while back because i am in a temporary sump with no baffles and i didnt want to suck it through the pump. my water is really warm, i just hooked up a fan tonight after seeing a special on Discovery saying coral bleaches at 86, it goes from 81 before the lights come on to 83 right before they go off. 750 watts of MH and a Mag 12 will do that, luckily it is in the basement or it might be in the 90's..any way, how do i get rid of the bubble algae?

Manual removal or emerald crabs with BIG CLAW(S) work.

I think Lonnie might want some of it, He use to have a butt-load of it and I think he's missing the amount that he once had  :D

Nookie's answer is about the best, I agree.

Rabbits are amazing fish...only problem is they eat the algae fast and get BIG fast....then they add a very large fish and bioload to the tank.

wow that fan really works, it works too well. dropped the tank from 83 to 78 overnight......everything looks ok, but we'll see.....

I don't think I'd worry too much about it Nick.

Temperature swings are a good thing as long as they happen relatively slowly and stay within realistic limits.

I agree with Dad...temp swings are not evil and are a good thing as long as it isn't fast. Mine goes from 78 when the lights come on to as high as 81 or 82 by night, if it hits 83 the chiller comes on.
