How can I control the buble algea problem.
I bought an emerald crab. But bubble algea is everywhere.
I reduced phospahate level by using po4 reactor.

Keep your nitrates and phosphates low, make sure your useing quality test kits. I like salifert for nitrate and hanna checker for phosphates.

If you had high phosphates to start with you will most likely have to change out the po4 media daily till it gets under control.

IME, (and I have way too much experiene with bubble algae), an emerald crab will help once you get it under control, but unless you have an army of them, they cannot do it themselves. Manual removal and nutrient control are how to get on top of the problen yourself. I use a siphon tube with a filter sock wrapped around it to get as much as I can each and every water change. Just put the sock in your sump, start the siphon going, and get to work on it. When you are done, do a water change. Repeat weekly for as long as needed. Get a reactor going with GFO (granular ferric oxide) to remove the phosphate from the water and be careful about over feeding.
