Bubble algea removal

I have a "christmas ornament" in my tank. Assuming this is bubble algea. It is the only one and has grown to a medium gum ball size. I have never had this before. Do I try to pull it off the rock? Cut it off? It happens to be located right in the middle of a colony of zoas.

Remove it out of water. Dont chance poping it in water.

i found a bit of it on a small rock, pulled it out ripped it off, it squirted in my eye which stunk lol, washed it made sure nothing remained but that might be a little harder since its amongst your zoas.

Grab it lightly and twist, should pop right off. Helps to do it out of water but its not always possible. You can also suck it out with a rigid piece of airline too.

If it's large it is more likely to have spores as I've read some where, so be careful to avoid breaking it. I pull out small ones and don't worry too much if the pop but I'd suspect a large one. Or you could just enjoy it.
