Bubble Anemone - Hardy?

I always heard bubble anemones were hardy, but wanted to share an incident to show just how hardy.

Started out just your normal anemone. Large and had it's own private Maroon clown. Life was good.

Began to roam and got under a plateau rock and I rarely saw him. Life was ok.

About 6 weeks ago he took off again for greener pastures. I have no clue where. I thought he'd met his maker. Life was ucky.

About 4 weeks ago he popped up and began going up the back of the tank. Woke up in the middle of the night and for no known reason checked on the tank. The anemone had gotten on top of the overflow box. (mind you there is NO room above the box inlet as it is pressed up against the top.) He had impaled himself on the "fingers" at the top of the inlet. I could slide him up and down, the fingers were impaled through him. I lowered the inlet, got him off and set him in the hospital tank to see what would happen.

Next morning he was fine, like nothing had happened. Put him back in the tank. In a few days he got happy feet and disappeared, never to be seen again.

that brings me up to today. Major tank clean day. Went to clean everything and as I took the sock out of the input to the sump tank, at the bottom of the sock, was a mushy goo of jello. Yes, the boy had gone up the tank again, gotten into the overflow box, went thru the U tubes, out thru the drain tubes (how he got past the foam covers I'll never figure out, down the flex tubes and into the sump tank.

I dumped the goo into the bucket of water I was using to clean everything and promptly forgot about it.

Finally went to dump the bucket and something I never do is dump the bucket in the bath tub but I did this time. Noticed the water wasn't draining. The 'anemone goo" had clogged up the drain.

Guess you figure where this is going. Took him out of the tub, was rushed and set him back in the tank for the time being. He was just flopping around with the current. Felt guilty so put the goo in a rock that I could get back to soon to dispose of the anemone. Hour later, all his bubbles were full and he's doing fine.

Looking for a anemone collar and leash.

Something isnt right if he has "happy feet" that much. I would seriously look into the reasone it is moving so much.
