Bubble Coral Health Issue

I just purchased a bubble coral and placed it in my tank. It sits about 14" under a 150W 10k metal halide. I've been watching it for the last couple of days and have been working to get the flow arranged in an optimal way for the coral. I have a Mag 9.5 return pump and a Korilla 3 for circulation, but for some reason the combination of these 2 seem to blow everything around. Anyway, I noticed the bubble doing something similar to my hammer, but on a much larger scale. Do bubbles poop in the same way as the hammer? Pic:

they all poop. put that guy down on the bottom in shade and low flow and it'll get huge.

I would be inclinded to believe that is rapid tissue necrosis and or part of the bleaching process when they expell their xanthella algae?

I am also thinking that they are expelling their zooxanthellae probably due to too much light. They are not used to your strong light so put it somewhere shaded or away from direct light and it will stop spiiting its zoo. You can slowly move it to more light once it has acclimated.
