Bubble coral problem

I am 13 and still fairly new to saltwater tanks. I recently bought a bubble coral because my local fish store said it would be good with my tank and most of the bubbles are inflated, but a few are leaking this brownish green stringy stuff from the bubbles. Is this a problem? Did the bubbles somehow pop? Is there a way to fix this if there is a problem?

You need the following parameters: salinity at 1.025, alkalinity at 8.3, magnesium at 1300 and calcium at 420, absolutely steady with an autotopoff, with moderate lighting---bubble is not fond of metal halide on the top of the rocks. Give it a little shade from extremely intense lighting.
