i really like bubble coral i looked at a bunch of sites and they say it CAN grow under low light i have 260 watt pcs
i have a great spot in my tank for it right at the top
does anybody else have this coral under pcs and should i even try it

I haven't personally kept bubbles under PC's, but I know at least one person that does with no problems. I say keep it up close to the top and u should be fine.

I have a bubble under pc's and it is doing great. 520 watts pc's the bubble is in the top 1/2 of the tank.

I had a bubble coral in 350 watts of MH with low flow and it was shrinking and dying, I put the bubble coral in my frag and mushroom tank under 120 watts of NO lighting in low flow and it is making a come back. This type of coral needs low lighting in my experience!

i have a ton of water flow if that was the case i don't want to kill it thats all but it sound like i will be ok
thanks for the info

I have 260W PC lights and I put my pearl bubble near the bottom of the tank in a low flow area. Its grown about 50% since I took it home from my LFS 4 weeks ago. IMHO they do well under low light and require low flow as not to damage the bubbles. Too much flow and they won't expand fully.
