Bubble King 300 External manual??

I recently purchased a Bubble King 300 External and it came with NO DOCUMENTATION WHATSOEVER???

First piece of equipment I recall purchasing in many decades with no pieces of paper at all in the box... anyway, does anyone know where I can get documentation that describes its setup, adjustments, maintenance, design, etc?

I have emailed Germany with no response back yet and the distributor where I bought it has been little help at all.

The distributor said they have no documentation for it either and when I asked how I was expected to know how to get it functioning correctly, the brilliant response of their support specialist was "most people who spend that kind of money on something already knows how it works". ??? Well, I'll I guess I'm one of the few imbeciles who doesn't.

Can anyone help point me to some documentation on it? It was breaking in fine for about 2 weeks and then its started spweing into the 5gal overflow bucket rapidly... I can't seem to get it tuned by just dorking with it without some description of how it is supposed to be adjusted... maybe I'm just a slower learner

btw, I have the Red Dragon pump frontended with an Iwaki.

There should be a flow recommendation on the pump. Make sure you're putting that much through the unit, no more.

Once you've got that down, first adjust the skimmer by unscrewing the union holding the output standpipe below the white PVC T-fitting. Pull that entire standpipe assembly up until you have come "close" to the desired water level within the skimmer. I'd recommend the bubbles cresting just at the bottom of plate of the actual cup.

Leave the skimmer alone for a few days.

Once it has stabilized/broken in, turn the wedge pipe to make any final adjustments.

Edit: Also, make sure the output is not under water, that can cause the skimmer to behave erratically.

here is the current setup:
The Red Dragon 2000 pump built into the BK unit says 3,000L/h max (~800G/h)
The Iwaki 30RT I have on the front end says 10G/m (600G/h)

Would you say that is a correct match up?
From the picture, would you say I have the bubbles slightly high?
What is the nominal position of the 2 black "dots" on the standpipe? Should they be aligned? Does rotating the collar left or right from that position have the same effect?
(from your description, the collar with the black "dot" that can rotate is the wedgepipe?)
The Red Dragon pump is ~43in above the Iwaki pump. The Rubbermaid 150g stock tank below the BK is the sump, in front of the sump is the refugium, another 150g stock tank. In front of that is a 465g DT (actually still sitting outside in a crate, but will be installed shoirtly).

And I just noticed you last comment!!!! I do have the output pipe underwater to stop spashing noise -- sounds that that is a bad thing??? Is that possibly the major source of my problems here???

Pumps seem matched well.

The black dots aligned represents a "full open" position. While lined up, this is the lowest point of "fine tuning".

Regarding the telescoping pipe, this is the union nut I was talking about:

Undo that and you can extend or collapse the pipe. This is the second adjustment you want to me (the first being the actual flow entering the skimmer).

If you want to reduce the splashing, get yourself a 3" T fitting and some 3" ABS pipe. Then do this:
