Bubble Magnus NAC3 sump water height...

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this skimmer running in 6" of water...manufacturer recommends 8-10" My sump is limited to a 6" water height for the bubble trap to be effective. My other choice would be the RO NWB110 but i'm skeptical to purchase it bc it MIGHT fit in my sump if the 10.5" is just with the pump installed. the BM model is appealing due to the small footprint, i know it will fit. As you see I am pretty limited in space...Any advise is appreciated

My NAC6 doesn't function well in less than 8" of water. Can you increase your sump water depth or consider an external skimmer setup?
