Can't find many reviews on this skimmer at all. Quite a few on the curve 5 but not the a5. Anyone have experiences with it?

I really like mine although ive only had it a couple days. So far it seems really nicely built and makes an insane amount of bubbles. I did add an air valve to control the amount of air intake. Other then that its insanely quiet because of the DC pump and all the components are well made and very easy to take apart for cleaning. I would recommend to anyone.

This is a great skimmer, pretty silent and nicely build. I am using B10, bigger version compare to the A series
The a5 has a dc pump ( made by Them not a jebao klon) and run dead silent.

From what i gather you will not be disappointed with the A5 skimmer. Runs at a lower wattage with a Bubble-Magus Rock DSP1000 pump. The Curve 5 and A5 are both very similar besides the pump. Hope this helps
That does help. I'm waiting in case someone to comes in and says something like "The DC pumps aren't as reliable as the old AC ones" Then I might start thinking about the 5 instead...
