K I'll be waiting.
Mine was barely shipped out a few days ago. Don't know what pump I'll receive but I was told I'd get the 220v with a voltage converter.Originally posted by DiegoLizarazo

Why dont you wire up a 220v outlet. Doesnt take long at all..
Unless this is some type of special pump that can run on a higher frequency than originally designed to, the 60Hz frequency here in the states will most likely make short work of it.
Will make sure to follow your instructions Ostrow. Looks like geoxman backed down about sending you one.Originally posted by ostrow
Maybe, maybe not.
This thread has gotten long, so I would like to remind what I posted many pages back when I thought geoxman might be sending me one.
Test the pump, on its own, for an hour in a bucket of saltwater. Unplug the pump before removing it from the bucket.
If it is not fried, it should be fine. If it is fried, you haven't fried your tank.
Thats sweet mang. I've been following this thread from the get go and was excited to see that someone ponied up and bought one to try it out. Keep us updated.:thumbsup:Originally posted by GUILLO1
Looks like my skimmer arrived at LAX yesterday, so I should get it in a few days.

Yeah, but your dealing with China, not Italy. For the most part Chinese KO's are using the cheapest available parts....so they will not be designed/built to the tolerances of Italian motorblocks.
