I got recently a small bubble tip anemone (baby) very unique colors, it was attached to an empty harmit crab shell when I bought it, when I was looking to it in the LFS I was thinking that my Crabs definitely will like it.

when I went to home and put it in the tank, one hour later one of the crabs conquest the shell and the anemone attached, in the begining very cool to see them, but later-on the crab keeps disturb the anemone espically when flip itself down on the sand bed and most of time retracted.

What you advice me? leave it alone to re-attach itself naturally, or shall I remove it by hand

I don't think it will be good for the anemone to be moving around and if the crab is messing with it. I would say get rid of the crab and keep the anemone on the shell. Place it in good lighting

Also that anemone is pretty bleached. Needs good lighting and possibly food to color back up.

I agree that the anemone will not do well on the shell if the crab continue to move it around. I would do what ever I need to to get the anemone on a stable, not moving surface.

Thanks for your advice, this is my thought also.

I removed it now and its attached to a rock.
