Bubble Tip anemone dying?

If possible, find a better LFS. I'm very spoiled here in FL, I have 5 within 30 mins of my home. However, IMHO, it's worth driving 45+ mins to find a store that has ethics, and advice that has your best interests in mind!

Here's a great litmus test for an LFS: Ask them if you should put an anemone in a 2 week old tank. If they say yes without asking any questions, they're only out for short-term profits, and have no ethical responsibility to the livestock they're selling, or to you.

If they ask you how long the tanks been up, if you've tested Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate, and have seen it cycle, etc., You've found a trustworthy LFS!

Furthermore, if you find a LFS that tell you they will not sell you a fish/invert, because it's not good for your setup/size tank/tank age/experience/care level. That's a good store!

^^^ +1,000 ^^^...I couldn't agree more with this. When I first got in this hobby in '02, I found a few awesome LFS in Tampa Bay that never steered me wrong or let me make bad choices over the years (even if it meant they didn't get a sale). Now I'm looking for some out here in the Inland Empire or near L.A. with good ethics & the animals well being in mind, more than making a quick sale...I sure miss FAOIS....
