Reddish/Brown stringy mucus quite a bit.

Is he bleaching?

I had it since Saturday.

It doesn't seem to like light. Every time my light comes on he would retract.

At night when all the light is out he would blow up to a big balloon and go wandering.

What size tank, and what are the lights?

30 gallon long. T5 HO 2*39W Actinic and 2*39W 50/50 Daylight.

Indicates it may not be feces, but dumping symbiotic algae while adapting to the new and potentially adverse conditions.

Might want to reduce the period of lighting, add a shade of some sort, or move the light source to the side so that it can acclimate.

fwiw: if the temperature in the thank is 82F+, intense lighting will sometimes prompt a similar response even if the anemone is acclimated to the lighting.
