Hey guys just want to get your input. I'm stuck between deciding if I want to buy a rose bubble tip anemone or a carpet anemone. I'd like to hear your guys opinions and experiences with both thanks!

If you like to keep fish other than clowns, then get a BTA. Carpets are notorious for eating any fish unlucky enough to swim too close, and are really only trustworthy in a species-only set up with clown fish. And, even then, they still may eat the clowns too! I've heard of it happening. :strange:

They have eaten clowns?! Lol crazy I have some other corals in my tank of just be worried about it walking around killing my other corals

Any nem may walk around. You will always risk your corals with any choice you make. They can move from their happy place even years after they seem to be settled. I think BTAs have a much less potent sting than a carpet, if that helps? Best advice is try to place it well with appropriate flow, light, and food, pray that it stays; and if not try to watch it to make sure you keep it from connecting with your other corals until it decides where it wants to be. Good luck! Both choices are beautiful!

BTA is the anemone that would walk around. It is unusual for a BTA that would not walk around. Haddoni carpet would settle on the bottom of the tank in the sand bed and highly unlikely that will climb on the rock and bother your corals.
On the other hand, Haddoni Carpets are notoriously known as a fish eater. surface fish, those fish that move on the surface of the sand or rock like Mandarin, is unlikely to live for long in a tank with Haddoni. Large fish like large tangs and foxface also fall prey to Haddoni carpet but much less likely.

If it's for your 28 gallon JBJ I would go with a bubble tip. You won't have to worry as much it eating eating your fish and stinging corals like a carpet would.
