Bubble Tip with TWO mouths????

So the title says it all. My bubble tip has two mouths. Has anyone else experienced this before?

I've done a little reading up on it online. Everything says that it might split pretty soon.

I'd post a picture but right now its shrunken down to the size of a ping pong ball. So you can't really see anything.

I have a gbta that's had two mouths for last 3 weeks. How long does the process usually take? There is a anemone porcelain crab that sits on it. Could that delay the process?

Usually only a day or two -- you can help it along by cutting it in half -- make sure each mouth receives an equal portion of the nem and the survival rate is near 100%
