I would let your tank be up and running for at least 6 months before you attempt a BTA. As far as the lighting goes, you might want to check the clownfish and anemone forum here on RC, but I believe that in order for BTAs to thrive you need a different light source.

I agree, you should let your tank mature. I've always heard/used 1 year as a guideline. The lighting depends on many factors, such as how close to the lights the anemone can get and how powerful the lights are. Remember your lights lose intensity long before the bulbs stop firing. Your success can also be affected by how much you feed the anemone.

I have a rbta which i got 4 mo after the start and it is very healthy. If the anemone doesn't like the intensity it will move to a more preferable location. Careful cause they can get big, mine is at least 4 inches wide during the day.
There are quite a few people out there who have kept bta's for years with PC's. My dad is one of them. The higher in the water you keep it the better. But it's likely it will move a little anyway IME. It is probably better to wait for 6 months or so to have a better chance of stability. But it is possible to do in less time.

I had good luck with my GBTA under PCs. I have halides now, but it was doing fine--I had it up high.
I would also wait until the tank has matured at least several months before adding one. The last thing you want is one dying and polluting your tank.
