Bubble trouble

I had just about given up on my BTA after having it for a few months, and watching it starve itself. I tried every fresh and frozen fish I could get my hands on....but the BTA would eat it and spit it out a few minutes later. For the past month I have been taking a small turkey baster with a length of airline tubing on the end, and feeding the BTA Cyclop-Eeze and mysis shrimp. In one weeks time the BTA has it's bubble tips back, and is starting to color up again! Just thought I would share my story, and hopefully it can help someone.

I'm happy for my pair of false black ocellaris....they were seriously depressed when their BTA started it's disappearing act. Now they're back in BTA heaven.

Congrats on bringing it back...with your insanely overstocked 12g miracle tank...lol

How's everything doing in there? :)

Slakker: Thats a really good name for this tank! Believe it or not...everyone is happy, the ocellaris are spawning, the goby is sifting, the blenny is mowing hair algae, the cleaner shrimp are cleaning everything in sight, and the LPS and SPS corals are growing out of the tank! The only way this is possible is with two 5gal water changes a week, and emptying the skimmer cup every morning....but it's worth it until I get a bigger tank.

Thanks everyone...that BTA was definitely trying it's best to commit anemicide....but it was Cyclop-Eeze and the mini baster to the rescue!
