I have an aquaclear 30 HOB, and it is putting some microbubbles in my tank. It is happening when the water falls back into the tank. I have topped of my tank with as much water that I can, but still there are some bubbles. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Can you put a piece of foam in the outlet? You may have to change it frequently to prevent it from contributing to Nitrate. But it might work.

It's not being created in the filter. It is during that fall back into the tank. There is about a 1/4" gap between the lowest part of the "ramp" and the water surface. That is were it is being created at.

The bubbles really aren't that bad, but I don't like any bubbles..

You could always extend the spillway. Use a piece of plastic and bend it to conform to the existing curve. Superglue it in place so the new plastic touches the water or better yet a little below. PVC cement could probrably be used as a permanent attachment.
